A night of sonic bliss

Join us as we welcome back audience favorites and invite new friends onto the Echo stage. The Underground Channel and Cryokinesis to kick off the night and surely get your adrenaline pumping. Torpid May brings with them a sonic ambience that enraptures and soars, and 登登等登 will takes you on a ride you'll never forget with an unflinching and electrifying live performance.

Pushing a little further

Yun and The New Definition will deliver a jazzy and soulful set inspired by traditional and contemporary roots. Special guest Jocelyn Chia, a New York based lawyer turned stand-up comedian, will deliver the laughter.

L.I.U. (柳畅源) is a rapper and entertainer from the culture melting pot Los Angeles. He was invited to compete in "The Voice of China" TV show and also uploads music and comedy videos to his YouTube channel "riceboyliu". He is known for rapping in different languages, but primarily in English and Mandarin Chinese.

DJ Ayesha

Feature alongside L.I.U. (柳畅源). Ayesha has brought her highly textured and melodically complex sound to a variety of clubs around the city. Ayesha’s 2015 solo release, “Midnight Elite,” reached #16 on the Beatport Electronica charts, #29 in Deep House and #77 in Techno.

Yun & The New Definition (Y&D) is a Chinese music jazz fusion band established in 2014 by singer, composer and arranger Yun Huang. Yun makes soulful music that is both soothing and intriguing, embracing both Yun's traditional roots and contemporary inspirations. 2017, Yun and the New Definition had a successful tour in 8 cities in China including performing at the world-known famous Jazz Club Blue Note Beijing and at JZ Jazz Club ShangHai.​

Jocelyn Chia

Jocelyn Chia is a New York based stand-up comedian and actress originally from Singapore. A lawyer turned comedian, she was featured on cnbc.com for winning the Gotham Comedy Club’s Funniest Lawyer Competition. She has been a guest comedian on Sirius XM, a guest host on MTV, and is the winner of the 2016 Ladies of Laughter Competition. In 2017, she made her standup television debut for AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, hosted by William Shatner. She also received the "Rising Star - Comedy" award at the Asian American TV and Film Festival this year.

The Underground Channel

The Underground Channel is a Brooklyn based band who came together in the summer of 2012. The group's unique take on classic rock and modern renditions of good old foot stomping, adrenaline pumping riffs is both refreshing and exciting. Owing to the variety in their individual tastes and backgrounds the bands music has distinct elements of punk, grunge, and progressive rock that serve as a reminder that the UC is really a hybrid new age classic rock band who will keep your ears interested and your feet rocking.

Cryokinesis is a New York City-based metal band in the style of deathcore, progressive metalcore, electronicore, and symphonic metal. Now experience Cryokinesis, the power of rediscovering one's potential power.


The event will be hosted at the Gramercy Theatre, an ultimate rarity venue which have hosted such artists as Steve Winwood, Counting Crows, Huey Lewis & The News, The Jonas Brothers, Macy Gray, Marty Friedman, Rufus Wainwright, Brand New, The Get Up Kids, Spoon, and Jay-Z.
